To make your experience as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible, we've compiled all the details you might have before your event. Here, you'll find answers to many of your questions, including how to benefit from our services, what to consider during the preparation process, and what to expect on the day of the event.

Önemli Bilgiler ve Tesis Kurallarımız

Arrival Time:
We kindly ask that you arrive at the facility 15 minutes before your reservation time. All rituals begin with a 15-minute warm-up period to prepare the skin. The treatment begins 15 minutes after your reservation.

Clothing and Items:
We provide a towel, towel, and slippers. You can bring your own swimsuit if you prefer. There's a designated area for your belongings.

Cancel:
Cancellations made 24 hours before the reservation will be refunded.

Common Peace:


The Hammam is a shared relaxation area. We kindly ask that you respect the quietness, hygiene, and other guests' space.

Tip:


Tips can be paid to your artist in cash. Legal deductions apply to tips given by card.

Reservation and Planning

Q: How can I cancel or change my reservation?
A:
Cancellations made 24 hours before your reservation will be fully refunded. If you would like to make changes, simply contact us directly.

Q: What happens if I'm late for my reservation?
A: In the event of a delay, we will resume your service without any problems if available. However, if there is no available time due to a busy schedule, the package duration may be shortened or a lower package may be offered to avoid disruption to other guests. It would be very helpful if you could let us know in advance that you will be late.

Q: Can we make reservations for groups?
A: Yes. We offer services for bridal showers, special occasion celebrations, and group events. Contact us for pricing and personalized arrangements for your group.

Q: How can I reach your bathhouse?
A: Our location is very central. We're located in the Historic Peninsula, just a 10-minute walk from Eminönü and the Spice Bazaar. You can reach the Haliç Metro Station on the M2 metro line, which is a 5-minute walk away. For guests who prefer public transportation, the nearest bus stop is Vefa Bus Station.

Deneyim ve Tesis Kullanımı

Q: Do I need to bring anything with me? What should I wear?
A: No, you don't need to bring anything. We provide a towel, slippers, and a peshtemal. The peshtemal is designed to completely cover your body. You can also wear your own swimsuit for the experience.

Q: Is there a place where I can leave my belongings safely?
A: Yes. Each guest has their own private room where they can leave their belongings. We offer a safe deposit box at the reception desk for valuable items (passports, large amounts of cash, etc.) upon request.

Q: Can I choose my therapist (tellak/natır)?
A: Therapist appointments are made by the reception desk based on workload and operational availability. All of our professionals are specially trained to meet Hızırbey Hamamı's quality standards.

Q: Can I receive service while pregnant?
A: Of course, we welcome pregnant guests. However, some precautions are necessary:

  • We recommend that you do not stay in hot areas for more than 10 minutes.

  • Your scrubbing process can be done in a cooler area to ensure your comfort.

  • We offer a special side-lying massage service for pregnant guests.

  • Sauna is not recommended during pregnancy.
    We kindly ask you to consult your doctor and inform us of your pregnancy status before booking so that we can prepare you the safest experience.

Q: What payment methods do you accept?
A: We accept payment by cash and credit card. Foreign credit cards are also accepted.

Q: Do you have any discounts?
A: Yes. Regardless of currency (TL, Euro, Dollar, etc.), a 10% discount is applied to cash payments.

Q: Am I expected to tip? How should I tip?
A: Tipping is entirely at your discretion. In Turkish bath culture, a tip is a sign of appreciation for the master's work.

  • Giving the tip in cash is important so that it reaches our artist in full.

  • For tips given by credit card, 20% VAT must be deducted from the amount.

  • Our business covers all other legal deductions other than VAT; however, due to the first 20% deduction, a cash tip is recommended to directly convey satisfaction.
